The woman was in a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe heading east on Allentown Boulevard/Route 22 near Clover Lane when it was hit head-on by a 27-year-old man going west in a 2012 Kia Optima in West Hanover Township on Sunday, Mar. 27, at 8:43 p.m., state police said in a release on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old driver of the Hyundai, a 54-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old boy were all taken to Hershey Medical Center via South Central EMS, the release states. The 27-year-old man accused of driving under the influence was also taken to Hershey Medical Central via Life Lion.

Although state police say the crash was caused by the driver under the influence, no charges have been filed as of Tuesday.

All parties involved are from Harrisburg but their names were redacted from the state police release.
